Kwun Tong Works is a local capability renewal initiative.
It begins from one real workspace, one real community relationship, and many real objects that are usually ignored: cables, adaptors, batteries, screens, tools, old machines, wood boards, metal parts, packaging materials, storage corners, kitchen corners, toilet corners, and workshop corners.
Some people see clutter.
Some people see old objects.
Some people see industrial waste.
We see hidden local capability.

This is not mini-storage.

Kwun Tong Industrial Centre is a historic industrial building group located in Kwun Tong. It has four phases and decades of industrial memory.
It is close to Kwun Tong MTR Station and sits inside a dense commercial, industrial and retail ecosystem.
Over time, many industrial units have transformed into upstairs shops, studios, private companies, restaurants, workshops, product spaces and hidden capability nodes.
观塘工业中心不只是旧工厦。它是几十年香港工业、制造、印刷、贸易、维修、楼上铺、小公司、工作室和本地生意的沉淀。
The question is not whether old industrial buildings still have value.
The better question is:
What hidden capability is already here, but has not yet been recorded, organized, explained, activated or continued?
This pilot begins from Phase 1, Unit 6K, through a trusted workspace relationship.
The first goal is simple:

Old industrial buildings often face a practical problem: useful things accumulate, but without records, classification or clear ownership, they may become clutter.
Corridor clutter can create safety, fire, access and image problems.
Kwun Tong Works proposes a different approach:

Owners, tenants, suppliers, students and partners may contribute useful materials, tools or components.
If a contributed object is activated into a BagSpace kit, student project, rental package, exhibition setup or customer order, the contribution can be recorded and rewarded according to separate agreement.

We start small. We document carefully. We do not overclaim. We build visible local capability.
